Going LIVE for NEW S17 Launch at 12:30-1PM EST. Mark those calendars!

New Trailer released a bit ago. Some pretty rad things coming. Wattsons skin looks awesome (admittedly not a Wattson main). Horizons looks cool, but something feels off with her look. I like the skin overall, though! CAR SMG Reactive skin is 🔥🔥. Finally another reactive worth grinding towards.

Patch Notes are out, Legends! Let me know what you think!
My thoughts;
- L-Star looks to be VICIOUS! with Disrupters
- Triple Take might be somewhat back
- 30-30 is going to be annoying
- Catalyst finally has the scan counter with her wall, which was needed from her launch
- Support legend on squad allows all teammates to craft banners, is a great addition.
- Charge Rifle changes are much needed, especially the spawn rate
- R-99 nerf isn't that bad, still going to be a great weapon. I think this balances the entire SMG category. SMG meta is still in full force.
AND SOOO MUCH MORE. I can't wait!

A bit more info on the Point System related to the new Apex Legends Ranked Changes released. Weighted heavily on Placement, but also the 3-sets of 'Bonuses' that will be unknown to the players until Match End Summary. What do you think?

Massive Apex Legends Ranked Changes Announced Today via their Patch Notes Blog. There is a lot to take in as it is complex, but matchmaking is less about ranked tier and now about your in-game performance and placement. Along with that, there are a few new things. I will be LIVE tonight and will go through the article as the way I see it. For those interested (about 9PM EST)

- RP now renamed Ladder Points (LP)
- Splits removed
- 10 provisional matches at start of season
- New hidden MMR skill rating used for matchmaking
- Big focus on improved matchmaking
- Entry cost is flat at all levels
- Each Rank is roughly 1,000 LP, Still will have 4 tiers in each Rank

Feels a lot like Ranked Arenas between Provisional Placement and Matchmaking...it might just be the shake up that this mode needs. What do you think?!
