The feeling of not being included or being listened to in decision-making processes is very prevalent among Real Talk participants. Many feel the misrepresentation of under-served communities in the government.
The dizzying pace of new development in Boston neighborhoods stokes fears of being excluded and expelled from the city altogether through gentrification.

In Boston, housing is in everybody's mind, especially Bostonians of color. Participants recall a time when home ownership was accessible to those who worked for it. Today, many believe that being a homeowner is a coveted status, available only to those who have financial education, real estate savvy, substantial wealth, or a home that they inherited.
After been homeless twice in Boston, a participant named Nancy is asking a very important question: How can we make housing more equitable for everybody?
