Make a stop at the Lebanon Armory today before 4pm and grab a Shaved Ice. 30% of the sales will be given to SPC Ashley Lawson a local Nation Guard Combat Medic who suffered a stoke and needs help with medical expenses. And as always an additional 10% of sales will be donated to the Gary Sinise Foundation helping US Service Members, Veterans and First Responders.

This weekend is the Festival of the Turning Leaves in Thorntown. The 3 day festival will have the food court and street fair open on Saturday and Sunday. There will be live music, barrel train rides, a parade, blood drive, pizza eating contest, 5k/10k run or walk, Young McDonald's farm, Car Show, Corn Hole tournament, plus much more. We'll see you there.

Lebanon is playing host again for the Tiger Invitational Cross Country meet. Having graduated some top Seniors last year the Tigers are still strong. The team is also celebrating this year's Seniors at the meet.

Football season is here. Lebanon Youth Football League is playing on Saturdays at Abner Longley Park Football Field. Watch sone football, grab a shaved ice and then head over to the splash pad.
The Lebanon City Market is winding down for the night and wrapping up for the season, but I want to remind everyone that the work of our US military is never done. Veterans Ice honors our military by donating part of each sale to the Gary Sinise Foundation which has programs that provide adaptize smart homes for soldiers wounded with quadruple amputations, grief counseling for children of fallen soldiers at Walt Disney World, and mental health services including support for traumatic brain injuries. It's not all blood shed and tears though as Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band also plays concerts for the troops and serves meals with other celebrities to show support for our troops.
Just a few of the car on the Square tonight for the Car Cruise. Come out while the rain has stopped a take a look. Then grab a shaved ice just South of the of the Square on Meridian.
When the month ends so does the Lebanon City Market. Hurry out and enjoy the Market.
