Thursday was a fun day. I received a phone call around 10:00 AM from a local client who is having problems with his laptop. He forgot his Windows password, and just wants the laptop restored.

I met him and looked at the laptop, told him it would most likely take 24-48 hours including all Windows updates. I sent him a receipt and started to work on the laptop around Noon.

Dell's on-line recovery was great, I was able to get Windows 10 reinstalled, and got my clients email and login. I installed all updates and informed him his laptop is Windows 11 compatible. He will get a free upgrade when it becomes available.

After installing Acrobat Reader and OpenOffice, I met him and showed him the completed laptop. He was happy, and ready to get back and set up his printer.

I love working on computers. From virus/spyware removal, Windows reinstalls, replacing a broken LCD screen, or upgrading memory, hard drives or to a Solid State Drive.

Thank you for the vote of confidence allowing me to repair your laptop. That made my day.
