We are incredibly grateful to Idaho Power for selecting Fix it Forward for their Community Contributions Award for the second year in a row!
Support like this goes far beyond funding. It represents a commitment to the people in our community who are working to rebuild safety, stability, and independence. Reliable transportation is often the missing piece, and this support helps us continue removing that barrier for survivors who need it most.
Idaho Power continues to show what it means to be truly invested in the communities they serve. Their partnership allows us to expand our impact and keep vehicles on the road for those navigating some of lifeโs most difficult moments.
We are honored by their continued trust in our work and proud to stand alongside an organization that is making a real difference across Idaho.
Thank you for helping us restore mobility one repair at a time ๐

BIG NEWS ๐
Please help us celebrate our incredible Board Secretary, Kari Palmer, for being named Idahoโs 2026 Mother of the Year ๐
This recognition says everything about who Kari is. The way she shows up for her family, leads with heart, and supports everyone around her is something truly special.
The Mother of the Year program has a long-standing tradition of honoring women who demonstrate exceptional dedication to their families and communities, and Kari represents that standard in every way, every day.
Weโre lucky to see that impact firsthand at Fix it Forward, and we know so many others do too.
This honor is beyond well deserved, and we could not be more proud ๐

We had the opportunity to visit a Raise the Bottom Addiction Treatment facility yesterday, and it was a powerful reminder of what community-driven support really looks like.
The work being done to create stability, opportunity, and long-term change for individuals facing hardship speaks for itself. When people are given the right support at the right time, progress becomes possible.
Did you know?
RTB provides structured outpatient addiction treatment, combining medication-assisted treatment, counseling, and behavioral health support to help individuals stabilize, rebuild daily life, and achieve long-term recovery. Their programs are designed to meet people where they are while supporting lasting independence and connection.
It is always impactful to see firsthand how organizations are showing up and creating meaningful change.
Check them out!

We are honored to share that The Pollination Project Foundation recently highlighted Fix it Forward Inc. and our Driving Change program in a post featuring our grant report!
Their early seed funding helped us provide critical safety repairs such as tires and brakes for survivors who depend on their vehicles to get to work, attend court, access counseling, and care for their families. That initial investment did more than repair cars. It helped us strengthen partnerships with community-based service providers, expand our trauma-informed processes, and build a sustainable referral network here in Idaho.
Seed funding creates momentum. It creates credibility. Most importantly, it restores mobility and stability for survivors working toward independence.
We are deeply grateful for the trust placed in us and proud to continue restoring mobility one repair at a time.
