Following the third annual Over the Hill Gravel Grinder held in Horseshoe Bend, ID on Saturday, June 14, 2025, Lost River Cycle Club is proud to announce the donation of $8,200 to the Alzheimerās Association Greater Idaho chapter. The donation comes from registration fees and donations from participants in this yearās event.
Lost River Cycle Club partnered with Tailwind Nutrition Tailwind Nutrition, Twisted Turtle Racing Twisted Turtle Racing, Lyle Pearson INEOS Lyle Pearson INEOS Grenadier, the Horseshoe Bend School district, PortaPros, Reed Cycle, and a host of other in-kind sponsors to stage the Over the Hill Gravel Grinder. As with previous years, the cycle club donates proceeds after expenses to the Alzheimerās Association annual Longest Day fundraiser, this year dedicating the ride to long-time local cyclist Gene Pori, who passed away in April with Alzheimerās.

I would like to to let everyone know that we lost a long-time recent member, Eugene Pori. He was a passionate bike rider and we all spent many days riding with him in the HOP. He passed at the age of 86 on April 30th. I will always miss his stories and adventures he had riding.
