Awful. Not ok.

Breaking News: FDA Approves GMO Virus-Resistant Pigs for Human Consumption. British company Genus used the gene-editing technique CRISPR to make pigs immune to a virus that causes an illness called porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS). Genus hopes to have the GMO pork in the U.S. market as soon as next year. GMO gene-edited plants and animals are deregulated and do not have to be labeled as GMO in the U.S., so you won't know that you're eating genetically engineered pork. Our allies at GMWatch stated, "We don't expect the genetically engineered virus resistance – which even now is leaky – to last long in the gene-edited pigs. We saw in the COVID pandemic just how quickly viruses mutate to evade any barrier placed in their path. The genetically altered pigs will drive the evolution of mutations in the virus that enable it to break through the engineered virus resistance – potentially leading to the emergence of even more virulent strains of the virus."

GMO Pigs: Not Wanted. Not Proven Safe. Downright Stupid.

SIGN THE PETITION: Tell the EPA: No Immunity for Poison-Pushers: tinyurl.com/11StateAGs

11 State Attorneys General (Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, and South Dakota) have petitioned the EPA to seize states’ rights to label pesticides as carcinogenic and to take away people’s legal right to sue Bayer-Monsanto if they get cancer from Roundup herbicide. The State AGs' petition doesn't just shield Bayer-Monsanto from Roundup/cancer lawsuits, it shields the entire GMO/pesticides industry from lawsuits arising from harm their pesticide products cause to people.

The GMO/pesticides industry and their allies in at least 20 state legislatures, along with these 11 AGs, are claiming that their efforts are to prevent Roundup herbicide from being banned. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU. Their efforts have nothing to do with preventing a Roundup/glyphosate ban. They are attempting to give Bayer-Monsanto and the pesticide industry immunity from lawsuits.

READ about the details and take action today. We only have 7 days left to comment to the EPA to tell them to reject the 11 State AGs' petition: tinyurl.com/11StateAGs
