Caity Miller Racing

What a weekend for Caitlyn and I! We got the opportunity to run a nascar modified thanks to Quentin and his Mom! Caity turned about 12 laps in practice a few weeks back so this was the first true test after getting her seat in the car and it comfortable to drive! I was in shock after first practice! I knew we had a good car and driver but I did not think we would be as good as we where! So many people helped us make this possible! First off huge thank you once again to Quentien and his mom for letting us run the car, Chance at Kustom Fab for all the help and advice, Bill for letting me take it to the shop to work on and helping, Wyatt and Taylor for helping me work on the car and scale it while Caity was out of town, Jimmy Knox, and Brian Warf for driver coaching! We had a blast and maybe just maybe we can see a modified in our future racing endeavors! We had to pull off for the main event with 10 to go as the engine started to get hot but we still had an absolute blast!

Caitlyn Miller had the season opener on April 20th and it did not look promising with the weather. We went out for first practice and the car was working good but needed some changes, the rain came and we went and ate lunch while it rained and the track was drying. We did not get a second practice and went out and qualified on a green track with little rubber. Car was not all that great in qualifying but Caity was able to muscle through it and go second quick behind Casey. Didn’t want to change the car thinking the track would come to for the heat race but that was not the case, we finished 3rd in the heat and decided to make a change for the main. Went out for the main and took an early lead, was running hard with Casey behind us and running really fast lap times, with 3 to go Caity and Casey made some contact causing Caity to spin, both had to go to the back due to the cause of the caution, Caity was ready to go again and make up ground as fast as she could, another caution would come out bringing another restart, the leader spun coming to green so they brought it back and tried again. Caity would make a power move going into one on the final restart to take the lead and come home with the win. Caity and Casey battled hard and had some tight racing, was a racing deal and at the end of the day both came in and shook hands and had a great time. We are looking forward to the season and can’t thank everyone enough for the support. Thank you to Chance Overholt and Josh Aguirre at Kustom Fab LLC for the beautiful car and support, Thomas Plybon at Cascade Rain Gutters, Armor Performace Coating, Riverside Collision, Kyle, and Andrew from Pitstop USA, and Wyatt King for the help at the shop and the track, even had Taylor, in the pits with us to hangout and it was a blast. Shoutout to Ken Frickey with snake river legends for the parts and support at the track!

Happy thanksgiving to all of Caity Miller racing fans! We have a lot to be thankful for on this day, but we want to send out our biggest thanks to the fans for all the support!

Race #3 for us last night at Meridian Speedway! Car handled good all day and was confident going into our main after qualifying 3rd. Started 8th? last night and with 10 laps to go after sitting in 3rd, a caution came out for 1st and 2nd place, putting me in the lead for the win! Restarted with Casey right next to me and after two more cautions, he was able to pull of the W! I had so much fun and although we got DQed in tech due to a broken shock collar making us too low in the LF, it felt so good to be running up front with the fast guys! I have to give a huge thank you to crew chief Justin for making the right adjustments and always being supportive and keeping my head up on race days. I also couldn't have done it with out Chase, Knox, Cameron, Winchel Race Tires and all the sponsors that have helped us this season so far 🏁🏁

Huge shoutout to my brother for making the trip up to Idaho and spending the last few days with me! Thank you for helping on race day too! You better come up soon and that I see you more than once or twice a year 😜

Caity brought the car home 4th, could not be more proud of the results we got today for the first time back out! We will continue to work and get faster as we get more comfortable! Cannot thank everyone enough for the hard work on the car, thanks to Chase Gilbertson for the help and Justin McClure for making the car comfortable for me to drive all week! Next race is May 28th at meridian and we look to continue to build our success!

It's race day for Caity Miller here at Meridian speedway! First time back in over a year, looking to get more comfortable in the car and get the feel of the track again! 🏎🏁

Caity ran her fastest lap of the year today with a time of 14.983

Sorry for all the late updates, caity has had 3 consecutive fast times in the last 3 races and she has tied the track record with a time of 15.033 at meridian speedway. She finished 6th 2 races ago and DNF her last race due to a wreck when passing for 2nd. Caitys next race is the September 20&21 where she hopes to finally shake the bad luck off and get her first win. Remaining races this year will be:
Sept 20&21 at Meridian speedway
October 5th at Meridian speedway ( pending? )
October 12 at All American speedway ( pending )
And October 25&26 at The Bulling in Las Vegas.

So far out of the 6 starts caity has had this year she has had 4 top 5's, and 1 top 10. Very close to getting her first win! We can't thank our supporters enough and we have to thank TaxTec, IWEAR Grafix, Winchel's racing tires, Fast L**e Plus, and Perkins Repair. None of this would be possible without your help. We truly appreciate everything you do.
Next race for Caity will be in Hermiston Oregon next weekend (Aug 17) for their national qualifier.
