Boise Bicycle Project said Boise joined National Bike Month in May with seven events, including trivia at Here’s How Public House, a BASH at the Ann Morrison Traffic Garden, Bike to Work Day with Dawson Taylor and Lost Grove Brewing, a group ride to an AC Boise home game, an after-hours briefing on the Pathways Master Plan, and the second annual Freewheel Frenzy alleycat that drew more than 100 riders and 28 teams, with the final clue sending participants to Barbarian Brewing, where a portion of beer sales benefited the Boise Bicycle Project, as organizers highlighted biking’s benefits for fun, fitness, family trips, safer streets, connected communities and a healthier planet.
