This Idaho Gives, we invite you to make a meaningful difference for the most vulnerable members of our community-wildlife in need.
Animals in Distress Association (AIDA), through its two facilities-the Ruth Melichar Bird Center and the Rothchild Mammal Rehabilitation Center-rescues and rehabilitates more than 3,500 injured and orphaned birds and mammals each year. From tiny songbirds to larger mammals, each life matters-and each one depends on compassionate care to have a second chance in the wild.
This work is only possible because of you. AIDA is funded entirely by donations, contributions, and fundraising events, receiving no state or federal funding. We are deeply grateful for our donors and supporters-your generosity truly makes this mission possible, and we know we couldn’t do it without you.
Your support during Idaho Gives helps provide food, medical treatment, safe shelter, and rehabilitation for these animals until they are ready to return home to the wild.
Join us in giving hope, healing, and a second chance. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real impact.
