Meet Ally: Lead Coordinator at Shelby Donald & Company ✨

Ally started as a SD&Co bride (swipe to the end to see a photo of her on her wedding day!) and joined the team a year later, bringing with her multiple years of wedding coordinating, event management & project management experience. She brings an intentional, warm & organized touch to every couple’s celebration!

As one of our lead coordinators, you’ll see her managing timelines and vendor teams, fluffing dresses & passing out props on the dance floor — all with a big smile! We love having her on the team! 💕

We’re answering one of our most asked questions today: when do you actually have to send your save the dates & wedding invitations? 💌 Let’s break it down!

🤍 Save the dates generally go out 6-8 months before your wedding (or even earlier for destination weddings)! These give your guests a heads-up so they can mark their calendars and make travel plans.

🤍 Invitations are sent 6-8 weeks before the big day. This is your official invite with all the details — from timing to dress code to RSVP info.

Giving guests the right information at the right time helps everything run smoothly & ensures your wedding is full of the people you love the most 💕
