🍁🦃Hello Friends and Fam, 🦃🍁
With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I wanted to share my favorite turkey recipe with you. I call it "Boise's Best Thanksgiving Turkey". 🍽️
Ingredients:
1 whole turkey (14 to 16 pounds)
Salt and ground black pepper
1 onion, chopped coarsely
4 fresh thyme sprigs
4 fresh sage sprigs
4 fresh rosemary sprigs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups chicken broth
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Clean the turkey, and pat it dry with paper towels. Season the inside with salt and pepper.
Fill the cavity with onion and the fresh herbs.
Brush the turkey with the melted butter, and season generously with salt and pepper.
Place the turkey, breast side up, in a roasting pan.
Pour the chicken broth into the pan.
Roast for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
Let it rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.
The result? A juicy, flavorful turkey that's simply divine! 🍗🍷
Now that I've shared mine, it's your turn! Drop your favorite turkey recipes below and let's enjoy a feast of flavours this Thanksgiving!
Let's spread the love, Boise! Remember, a heart filled with thankfulness brings joy to the table! 💖🦃🍁

Hey there, friends! 🖐️ Winter ❄️ is just around the corner, and it's time to give some tender loving care to our heating systems! Here are some quick tips to help you remain warm and cozy this season:
*Change your filters: Dust and debris can catch in your filter and make your system work harder. Try to replace them at least once a month. 🌬️🔄
*Annual Check-Up: Like us, heating systems also need regular check-ups! Call a professional 👷♂️ to ensure your system is in top working condition.
*Seal ducts: Heat can escape through gaps in your duct system. Make sure they're sealed to maintain the heat inside your home. ♨️
*Check vents: Ensure your vents aren't blocked by furniture or curtains for heat to circulate properly in your rooms. 🛋️🔥
*Thermostat: Consider installing a programmable thermostat 🔢 to automatically lower heat when you're away and save on your bills!
*Insulation: Proper insulation is key to maintaining comfortable temperatures, check your home's insulation levels and improve, if necessary! 🏠
Let's prepare for a warm and inviting winter ahead! Stay warm, friends! ☕️🔥
Happy Veterans Day, Idaho! Sending out heaps of gratitude and respect to all our brave Veterans who have served and protected our great nation. Your courage, dedication and sacrifice are immensely appreciated! 🇺🇸🎖️💙
🌡️🔧 Tips for HVAC Service and Repairs at Home! 🏡
Hey friends! With the changing seasons, it's important to ensure your HVAC system is working efficiently to keep your home comfortable. Here are a few tips to help you with HVAC service and repairs at home:
1️⃣ Regular Maintenance: Schedule annual maintenance for your HVAC system to keep it running smoothly. A professional technician can inspect and clean components, detect potential issues, and improve energy efficiency.
2️⃣ Clean Air Filters: Dirty filters restrict airflow and can strain your system. Remember to clean or replace your air filters every 30-60 days to maintain good indoor air quality and improve HVAC performance.
3️⃣ Clear Outside Unit: Ensure your outdoor unit is free from debris, leaves, or obstructions. Keep a minimum distance of two feet from any vegetation or objects to allow proper airflow and avoid system overload.
4️⃣ Temperature Control: Use a programmable thermostat to regulate temperature settings based on your routine. This helps save energy and reduce stress on your HVAC system.
5️⃣ Watch for Warning Signs: Pay attention to any unusual sounds, odors, or inconsistent performance from your HVAC system. If you notice any issues, don't hesitate to call a professional technician to diagnose and repair the problem.
Remember, proper HVAC maintenance and timely repairs can significantly extend the lifespan of your system and save on energy costs. Stay proactive, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need professional assistance. Stay comfortable all year round! 😊🌬️💙
