madeleine + andrew grabbed pre-ceremony drinks at with their wedding party instead of formal portraits and i love how these shots by turned out.

this is one of the many ways they opted to make the day feel more authentic to them - opting out of traditions they didn’t love and substituting them with whatever felt more authentic to their story.

i really loved working with them on planning their day because of this. my heart sings when couples want to do whatever makes them happy on their day, and throw out the notion of “should” or “have to” 💕

Kelly + Justin had one of the most fun wedding parties and wedding PARTY I have seen! Every time I came to check in on the wedding party at the hotel, they were dancing and singing at the top of their lungs, hyping up Kelly. And then when it came time for the dance floor, every single age group was out there until the end of the night. Everyone danced their hearts out and it was one of the most packed dance floors of the season so far.

I absolutely love when I see my couples let loose and enjoy themselves once all the wedding day “to-do’s” are complete. After all - it is your wedding day…it should be fun!

It is so clear the incredible + fun community they have cultivated. From loving the little ones in their family so much, to surrounding themselves with the most fun friends, the love was definitely in the air and the positive vibes were contagious!
