Sunday’s circle—you could feel the presence, the intention, the passion.
Thank you to all who were able to make it. This community and our collective sound saved me…
You saved me from an identity I had constructed in the corporate world.
You saved me from isolation.
You saved me from pure self-destruction.
The music we make together is so much deeper than what you see from your seat or on the outskirts of the circle (or virtually through a screen).
This is a portion of what is actually taking place:
* We are learning to respond, not react: Using rhythm as a way to move through the world with true grace and ease, and discovering that the “pause” is where the music actually lives.
* We are befriending our inner critic: Realizing that judgment is not an enemy, but rather a guide showing us where our transformation awaits and where our healing begins.
* We are putting down our armor: Claiming our sovereignty within a safe environment that allows us to drop our swords and shields so we can finally rest, feel, and recover.
* We are embodying our authentic selves: Using sound as a gateway to develop deep trust, faith, and intuition - unearthing the parts of ourselves we used to suppress.
* We are remembering who we are, united: Rhythm reminds us of our deep interconnectedness, our ancestry, and how every single one of us is a necessary element to the whole.
We aren’t just making noise. We are re-engineering our collective perspective.
