The HD1 coming to the HXC Comms online store very soon. These units are IP67 rated, DMR, encryption, and Dual band. They come in at a very reasonable price point for the guy that wants some upgraded features over a Baofeng but not quite in the Motorola/Kenwood price range. is going to be covering more of the features and set up of the radio on his page. Stay tuned.

Listening to the local repeaters and enjoying a glass of single malt Irish whiskey and a bowl of nightcap to***co. Decent way to end a Friday. Remember it is okay to take a night off relax.

Expanding my knowledge base into the commercial/duty radio realm. So far I have seen some up sides and some down sides. We will go into that some more in some further post break downs. Just know that here at HXC Comms I will gladly spend my money and tell my wife it is for research.

Just a quick video on some changes I made to the AME LowBoy iambic paddle. Over all it’s way better. Much crisper action and less play. ⁣
