This month’s Sunday School curriculum theme is ‘Faith’ and the memory verse is “May God equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is please in His sight, through Jesus Christ.” Hebrews 13:21

“For the lesson on Sunday, we read through Hebrews 11:1-12:2 and talked about trusting and believing even when we can’t understand. Relying on Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, and so many others who were part of the great cloud of witnesses that show us how faith in God can allow us to set aside every weight we carry and with faith can wait for God to deliver on his promises!
We ended class by talking about things that we all have prayed for and had faith in that may have been shown to us immediately, and we may have needed to wait - but either way, God showed his faithfulness to us! The kids gave lots of examples of things in their own life, I shared a coupled and then Allie prayed us out!”

VBS Recap Part 1 - 5th Graders (going into 6th) had a little bit of a different VBS this year. To prepare them for youth, they got their own space in the Youth Building with games, small groups, and intentional lessons taught by ViewStudent Staff! So much growth, fun, & memories made! ❤️

Here is a quote from Amy McCraw about this year’s VBS for 5th graders…
“Many children have feelings of anxiety or uncertainty when they move from Children's Ministry to Youth Group, but this year's VBS helped bridge the gap by easing their mind by giving them a sense of new belonging. I have been blessed to watch these 5th graders grow and mature over the last year and I am fully confident that they are ready to transition into the next phase of their walk with the Lord. Matt, Marcy, and Brady brought tons of energy and fun while sharing the love of Jesus and the gospel. Watching them all interact with their new leaders, I could tell the kids feel safe and are excited for what is to come. I will miss them but I can't wait to see where the Lord leads.”

VBS Night 1! We spent the night talking about Jesus being the light & how we get to carry the light of Jesus to the world!! So much fun, such joy, & can’t wait for Night 2!

Dates: May 31st - June 3rd, 6:00-8:30 pm!

Our Theme is Wonder – I was created by God and for God! We will spend the 4 jam packed days of VBS where we will deep dive into The Creation Story! Through worship, crafts, science, recreation, and much more, we will discover how God’s creation shows us we were created in His image and for His purposes!

A look ahead into our nightly lessons…
Sunday Night – God of the Sun, Moon, & Stars - Genesis 1:14-10
Memory Verse: “I am the light of the world.” John 8:12
Today’s Point: Jesus is the Light of the World!

Monday Night – God of All Creatures - Genesis 1:20-25
Memory Verse: “Don’t be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12:7
Today’s Point: Jesus is my Protector!

Tuesday Night – God’s Masterpiece - Genesis 1:26-31; 2:15-22
Memory Verse: “I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:14
Today’s Point: Jesus is my Savior!
