Tiny Tot Programs will connect children and their parents with nature through short walks, animal visitors, and crafts. For children ages 3-5 years old.

Join us May 17th from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm for a community walk with a health professional from the Suffolk County Department of Health, Office of Health Education! Learn how to use the exercise stations, enjoy a nature walk, and look for signs of wildlife! Together, we’ll explore the connections between our health, our natural environment and access to outdoor spaces.

It's Celebrate Trails Day at Sunken Meadow State Park! Join us on this guided three mile hike that will take us through the woodlands and bluffs of Sunken Meadow and Nissequogue River State Park. Sponsored by The Rails to Trails Conservancy.

The craft is a surprise! Seniors can socialize and express their artistic side! Materials will be provided. This crafting program falls on Earth Day! All skill levels are welcome! Recommended for adults ages 62 and up.

Join us for a family-friendly Pollinator Celebration on Saturday, June 21 at Sunken Meadow State Park!
Learn about the importance of pollinators and native plants through games, activities, and tours of our beautiful Pollinator Garden. Meet a beekeeper, see our local pollinators, learn through fun events! Learn how to start your own pollinator garden or take home free seeds from our Seed Library. We look forward to seeing you there!

Grow herbs and learn about their uses through history. Learn the native species you can find in NY and what grows best!

Family Programs are geared for ages 6 and up.
