The Tom & Jo-Ann Croci Foundation

l of an elementary school in 2002. Jo-Ann made an indelible impression on students and co-workers alike. Over her 34 year career, she inspired her students and fellow faculty members with her service and dedication to Connetquot and its community. Jo-Ann was an active member of many school and community organizations, but it was her commitment and dedication to the thousands of young people that passed through her classroom and office that made her the exceptional teacher, administrator and mentor that we remember. Tom Croci was a Health teacher, athletic coach, class advisor and mentor to innumerable students, parents & fellow teachers that passed through his classroom and office. So many people have shared personal stories about how Tom changed their lives, set them on the right path, or helped them make choices that paved their way to a better, more productive life. Whether it was paying for a tutor that one student couldn’t afford, or helping an athlete practice after hours, Tom was extremely generous with his time. His devotion to his profession was something that was admired and respected by his peers. Tom & Jo-Ann Croci shared their passion for teaching and guiding young people down a path of enrichment and knowledge. It is this passion that we remember and continue to share with the young men and women who continue their pursuit of education in their college years. That is why we have established three scholarships that are awarded to High School students who want to become educators or pursue a military career. The Tom & Jo-Ann Croci Foundation is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization and will hold its annual fundraiser on May 19, 2016 at Land’s End Caterers in Sayville, NY. All proceeds raised go to the maintenance and enrichment of the Foundation’s goal to encourage young people to pursue their dreams.
