Charity Recycling Service

Partners in Education program promotes businesses to be creative in how they support our schools. Charity Recycling Services checked in several projects they sponsored, across the district this week. From classroom gardening at Little River to bottle cap art at Westpointe Elementary. They also presented a Green School check to Killarney Elementary for winning the Community Involvement grant with OCPS Sustainability. CRS manages the collection bins on many of our campuses; that allows school to earn funds while supporting an upcycling opportunity for our schools and their families.

This year, we are thrilled to announce Charity Recycling Service has been chosen as an award recipient for the 2020 CBRA DISTRICT HONOREES LIST. https://www.floridaeducationfoundation.org/cbra

Charity Recycling Service was nominated in conjunction with our efforts in clothing recycling and fundraising partnership with Foundation for Orange County Public Schools. To date, this program has diverted over 472,620 lbs from landfills and given them a second life and raised over $55,000.00 dollars.
