I sent a story into JMU about our little farm and a coworker Barb showed me the write up today!! I didnโt know that they were going to do a story!! Thanks Barb for bringing in the magazine.

Our farm babies have been growing. Here our the triplets! It has been a lot for this mom to feed her babies so we have been bottle feeding them too!
We have officially ended our lambing season. We had 3 pregnant ewes who delivered 7 healthy lambs who are all thriving. We now have a total of 13 sheep. We appreciate you for liking and commenting on our page!!
We will continue to post more! Our wool has gone to a local sheep friend who uses the wool for textiles.
Thank you for supporting our adventure! If you need eggs or lamb meat reach out to Jason or myself!! If you also want to visit we would love itโ snuggle a lamb but come out soon before they get too fast for us!! We have some dreams to expand our farm for the season to follow! Cant wait to share it with you!! Thank you for supporting local eggs and lamb.

She deserves a gold metal!!! Mom or baby?? Maybe both? One for gymnastics one for patience!!

Mom of triplets is as patient as they get!!

Blessings abound another set of twins born on the farm an hour ago-Twin girls!

We welcomed twins early this morning to the farm. A boy and girl!

Turns out she had triplets this morning! 2 boys and a girl.

The newest member of the JMEwe farm a little boy!!
We are actively waiting for our lambs to be born. We have our lambing jugs ready. Lambing jugs are small pens that house the lamb and mom to allow for warmth from the weather, allow mom and baby their own space to bond but also keep them close to the flock. It also allows us the ability to keep a close eye on mom and baby to make sure they are healthy and that the lamb is gaining weight. ๐
JMEwe farm?? What does that even mean???
Well glad you asked!!
Jason and I met our freshman year of college at JMU at work to help pay for our college educations!
Fun fact a female sheep is called a Ewe which is pronounced as โuโ so we put it all together to make our farm focused on both our past and present and ta da J.M. Ewe came to be ๐

Here is an adorable lamb born last spring! We raise Clun Forest sheep which are known for both their wool and meat.
