Getting this flip house rough-in wrapped up. Enjoying this weather! Also note that supported and secured are not the same thing. I've seen many people waste time trying to staple on the back side of the studs. It just needs support. Efficiency is key.

No scratches. No dust. Happy customer with a new ironing board circuit.

👋‼️Volunteers Needed‼️👋 It takes a lot of man power to put on an event as awesome as Dozer Day; we need operators willing to donate their time to help spread the joy of construction equipment to the kids of Kansas City. We also need people to help at other areas around the event. If you are looking to give back or need volunteer hours for any reason head over to https://kansascity.dozerday.org/volunteer/ and sign up. NUCA KC Chapter is looking forward to working with you on this fantastic experience.

Do you or someone you know have a touch plate low voltage switch system that is giving you problems? We repair and or replace those. This house received new switches and relays for the low voltage system that couldn't be rewired to standard 120 volt devices and proper gauge wire to match. All connections where redone to insure a proper connection as well as everything was labeled for future maintenance. Give us a call for all your electrical needs.

Swimming Pool Equipotential Bonding [Part 3 of 3, Testing], (28min:39sec) 06/24/2020

Today we are tasked with checking safety of an existing in ground pool. The grounding system of a pool is the most important aspect of a pool. Above or under ground. Same with hot tubs and spas. Are you safe? It's unfortunately a sad reality that pools can kill with an electrical current. My heart goes out to the family that lost 3 loved ones yesterday in another state. Please have it tested, even if you don't choose our service to test your system. https://youtu.be/Q8YLcXRo-Go all credit for video goes to Mike Holt Enterprises

I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to post much. A couple services and today's current service project.

Sunday panel change. They hired an "electrician" to clean corrosion on main lugs. Who ever, didn't tighten the lugs and the result was a melted entrance cable.

01/07/2020

Here at Kyle's electric service, we feel that every room should have temporary or perminant lighting in the rough in stage. It should also have a minimum of one gfci temp plug. We use plastic led bulbs as they can withstand construction and won't break and drop glass every where or on our clients or Thier crews.

12/31/2019

I'm a bit ocd about my installation of counter top devices. Most of these old houses have wavy floors and a different elevation of devices on a tile wall is unacceptable at Kyle's electric services.

12/06/2019

Getting started on the highland project. I got the service moved out side and all old wire removed.

11/11/2019

Got a call Saturday morning for power issue located just down the street from home. Found the basement wall had come in enough to pull service entrance cable into the connector at the top of the panel. Had evergy disconnect it sat due to being obviously unsafe. Replaced service on Sunday because it's important to me to get a family back in Thier home. Monday, today, permit issued and inspection passed by 10:30 am. Unfortunately I've done all i can for permanent power and we must wait on evergy. With it being veterans day they say possibly 2 more days. So Kyle's electric is going to get our customer setup with a generator. We want a family back in Thier home, not a motel room especially with this weather. This customer is a veteran and will receive a discount, thanks for your service Drew. I do believe he will be having this wall shored up in next few days.

11/11/2019

I want to thank all the veterans, past, present and future for thier service.

Added some plugs, switches and light fixtures in Lee's summit. 10 exterior wafer lights instead of full bucket can lights. I like the wafer lights as there's no worries about joists being in the way of placing light were you'd like it. I'll have to drive by tonight and get some pics of them on. Also installed a in wall timer switch for them. I gotta get better at the before and after photos.

10/31/2019

One of today's service calls. Light fixture "is hanging by the wires" and "sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't". Blessed to have a service contract with key reality/property management. New light fixture installed forgot to snap a pic.

10/31/2019

Evergy installed My pigtail today. Blessed to have a heated house to work in.

10/31/2019

Few before pics of one of this weeks projects. This one is in Ruskin heights area. New 100a service, New kitchen wiring, add bath gfci's, add bath fans, move a few switches around, add few 3ways, put box on light fixtures, wiring for new framing, fish washer and dryer across basement, add garage door opener, all new plugs/switches and light fixtures. Install a few junction boxes in attic. Rough in and service pics coming soon. Remember to get those pushmatic panels replaced!

Trying to sell your house? Quick flip? Need gfci's installed to pass an inspection? Give me a call, text, email, or through messenger to get an estimate and possible other options. This one wanted 10 gfci installed. We decided to use arc fault/ gfci combination breakers instead of 8 gfci outlets, reason for breakers instead of gfci is that we have now protected all the outlets on that circuit not just one plug when changed to gfci.. We had to install a gfci in 2 baths because they were fed with a 3 wire home run and these types of breakers can't have a shared neutral. When aluminum wire rated devices were unavailable for few days, customer opted to have me convert al wire to copper and use standard cu rated gfci. We labeled cover and its ready for its new owner. The proper tourqe on wire connections is critical, make sure you pick the right company for your electrical needs. This panel was recently redone.
