Hello Everyone! We wanted to let you know that Bear Cloud Cabin has been sold. Patrick and Maria are great people and will take good care of you on your visit to Blue Ridge GA. We are also excited to announce that they have decided to rent out the entire space (2600+ sq ft, 4BR/3.5BA) so they can accommodate your family gatherings or friend groups up to 10 people! Hello Friends and past guests, this is URGENT, being voted on MONDAY, PLEASE READ! You are about to have to pay more for your vacations to the mountains! Please sign the petition at the link below to say NO! If you currently book a vacation through VRBO or AirBnb, you are already paying 30%+ in taxes and fees alone! The state of GA has proposed a new bill (HB 317) that will cause guests to pay another $5 per night in additional taxes and the vote could come on Monday. If you stay 10 nights somewhere, that means an additional $50 for your vacation to the North GA mountains or the GA coast. Please sign the petition at the link below, it will take less than 1 minute of your time...we are ALL taxed enough already! Bear Cloud Cabin Story
4 years ago I purchased Chinook Cabin (facebook.com/ChinookCabin) after falling in love with the town of Blue Ridge. I enjoyed renting Chinook out to existing friends and new friends (our guests). In the following 4 years, I married my wife, Carrie, and she shares my love for the town of Blue Ridge and just getting away from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. So after marrying we began to look for a new cabin to purchase. In October 2019 we found out about Bear Cloud cabin, which is located in the same neighborhood as Chinook. It was larger than we were looking for, but figured we could make it work. It has been a labor of love as the cabin needed some TLC and lots of upgrades to become rentable. The renovations and upgrades were completed in January 2020 and we officially went to market in February 2020. We are about 4.5 miles from the Blue Ridge city limits, we have a wonderful mountain view, hot tub, and several upgrades in the cabin such as large flat screen TV’s, bluetooth sound system, and locally handmade custom beds that make Bear Cloud Cabin one of the best rental values in Blue Ridge!
