Things to do today as the worst of the storm is supposed to hit around 3 am they're saying:

-make sure you have a full tank of gas

-go ahead and take showers tonight just in case we lose power and have no hot water tomorrow

-If you have any extra power banks, make sure they are charged up in case we lose power

-Have some extra candles, batteries, flashlights, etc., on hand in case we lose power

-Fill up a bathtub with water in case we need extra water to flush toilets with in case we lose power

-Have some extra bottles of water on hand or some filtered water in pitchers in case we lose power and cannot get water out of the faucet

-if you have any extra gas cans, make sure those are full just in case we need extra gas to run a small generator or put some more gas in your car if you're using that for a power source. You may also need it for chainsaws.

- if you don’t have a small generator put some ice in coolers.

I don't think it's gonna be too bad, we've lived through worse living in Florida, but I do always think it's smart to be prepared.
