It's been a long day, traveling back from a family trip for the 4th.
Sitting here listening to the fireworks around where we live, after getting settled back home, some thoughts run through our mind.
"And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night, that OUR flag was still there!"
Whoever said we have to see eye to eye on everything, lied to you. Whoever said we need to look similar, lied to you. Whoever said we need to talk alike, walk alike, laugh alike.... .....that's not an American talking to you.
This is a land where individuals can live along side one another, be different as the day is long, but still have goals and accomplish them. It may be harder for some and easier for others, but let's be honest; only in America can some guys and a gal in a garage make something called a Rod Holder for a living!
This isn't the Land of Equal OUTCOME!!!
