I’ve realized I’m someone who doesn’t do well with stillness—any spare moment usually turns into something creative, productive, or growth-oriented. That’s how I recently found myself picking up a new skill I’ve genuinely come to enjoy: photography.

I’m really excited to see how this naturally integrates into my marketing and real estate work, where strong, story-driven visuals already play a huge role in what I do.

This shoot actually came about as a way to give back to my former sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma at Illinois State University. Coming back to capture these women felt like such a full-circle moment in the best way.

Right now, photography is still very much a hobby for me—but it’s also something I’m intentionally learning, practicing, and growing in my free time (if and when I can find any). I love that it can be useful in everyday life as well, whether that’s capturing meaningful moments or being the person you can call for a quick “I need good photos ASAP” situation for real estate, social media, or anything in between.
