I’m that songwriter with the altpop song “Pain au Chocolat”, like from that Duncanyounot video. It isn’t about eds but it was inspired by my first success food, and the debate around what to call them in France + how that is a metaphor for situationships.

I came up with the idea of “Lunch Desserts” as a way to practice eating “junk” food during r*covery. That s*t works, love works. There was a book by Marc David that extra helped me - it’s called slow down d*et (misleading title).

I’ll reiterate a key point: I even have my music career now, largely bc I got the time and energy back to spend on music haha.

St*rvation doesn’t work long term, it always backfires bc there’s no love in it, only fear. Fear has an important role in life, but it does lose in the end. Hey, good luck with any of this stuff.
