If you are debating on whether or not you want to wait for Got a Painter due to all the jobs in front of yours or the price is a little higher than other bids, this review is for YOU! My wife and I decided we just couldn't wait the 3 month lead time for Got a Painter to do our cabinet refinishing. We hired someone else who said all the right things and could start right away. The result was a disaster and Got a Painter saved the day! That someone else did not do the proper prep work on the cabinets, cut corners, used an incorrect primer and paint combination and ultimately we ended up with a mess that cost us thousands of dollars to fix. Small claims court is in our future now due to our lack of patience. Don't make the same mistake! Tommy and his wife were compassionate and empathetic to our situation. They were willing to work nights, weekends, and early mornings to fit my job in to rectify all the damage. No one knows more about paint, primers, clear coats, sealants, or refinishing cabinets than Got a Painter period. You will not find anyone who is as professional, knowledgeable, or dedicated to the craft of cabinet refinishing as Got a Painter. I have gutted 3 kitchens and I have never met someone who takes such great pride in producing quality work. Don't risk it. Wait for Got a Painter. I don't want to see anyone go through 8 months of hell like we did or spend thousands of dollars to clean up a hot mess. Just hire Got a Painter and sleep well at night knowing your cabinet refinishing will be done right the first time. I am happy to speak to anyone who is on the fence as to whether or not to wait for Got a Painter. I have the pictures of what Tommy fixed to prove he is worth the wait. Don't make the same mistake my wife and I made.

I always thought my kitchen was so outdated and it was, but not anymore! My friend had an estimate on getting new kitchen cabinet doors replaced and it was so expensive! I decided get a few estimates through Thumbtack.com to get my cabinets painted since I couldn't afford a new re-model, and I was happy where my cabinets were located. I decided to go with GOT A PAINTER CABINET REFINISHING. Tommy had an invoice and estimate within the day. No pressure or sales pitches! I sent photographs of my cabinets over the internet and counted up the cabinets and drawers. The estimate was affordable with a lot of work and steps. They are experienced cabinet painters. I had no idea what color to pick out since I have no design talent myself. My sister and I drove up to the shop and Tommy helped me choose a new look, I took a sample of my counter top. Very nice family business and workshop. They have online payments so everything is written down, and you know what to expect. They worked meticulously and cleaned up after each job. You can keep the grain in your old cabinets or get the grain smoothed out. I went with the smooth look. They look like new cabinets and they were installed in 1989. If you want a new look that is reasonable and done professionally, I recommend them A+!
