Alrighty... Name Our Boat Contest once again!!! We are adding a center console fishing boat to the fleet and we need to get it named!

If your name entry wins, so do you! You'll receive a 4 hour rental for this boat on us! Of course, you'll pay the gas, lol.

Keep it clean'ish, but fun!

Keep in mind we will use this name when folks reserve the boat, on paperwork, in the computer, and put the name on the boat... so make sure it'll look good in print and on the boat ;)

Well video doesn't do it justice lol. It was rough here for a little while this evening. Luckily it didnt last throughout the night. Lightning struck just feet off the dock about 15 minutes after video (Yes, I almost peed myself lol.) We hope everyone made it off the water and safe this evening. Shew... I'm glad to be on land now! Poor Shane had to go out and make sure all anchors were tight (with a steel bar in a lightning storm...)

FYI For next year, if you have bad prop laying around or one that has a spun hub... we take prop donations for next year's trophies. Just drop them off at the marina. No prop too small, lol!

Happy Spring everyone... or fake Spring as we know it to be lol. Marina is opening for the season. We are open and have fuel. Store will be stocked within the next week and rentals begin around April 1st. See yall soon!

Winter Storm Izzy -
As of today - MARINA IS CLOSED TO ALL -

In preparation of the upcoming storm, the marina property - docks - and parking areas are closed. Do not visit the marina during the upcoming winter storm until after the snow has completely melted and it is safe to do so. Driveways are closed. Docks will ice more severely and quicker than the ground. When it is safe to do so, we will reopen the docks and parking lot.

We have done our best to make sure everyone's dock lines are secure and at the time being everything is normal. We try to keep everyone updated on the snowfall and ice accumulations. Keep in mind that strong wind gusts, ice accumulations, and heavy snow is forecasted for our areas. This can cause damages to boat covers, bimini's, loose items, etc.

When it is safe to do so, we highly encourage boat owners to visit your boat, but not until then.

We hope everyone stays at home, stays safe, and hopefully this will be a snowfall we can all enjoy. Anyone have snowmen ideas yet?

Free Boater's Safety Education Course held at Lakeside Village July 31st, 2021 10am - 5pm. Highly recommend you and your family register and attend this course to learn more about boating laws and safe operation of vessels.

There is safety in numbers; The more of us who take the time to learn more about boating, the safer our lake and fellow boaters will be. Spend one day learning and a lifetime of enjoying recreational boating!

AWESOME 2021 FOURTH OF JULY ON LAKE NOTTELY!!! THANK YOU TO ALL PARADE PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS! NOTTELY FOLKS ARE THE BEST!

In all these years of doing the boat parade we've never worried about having our stuff taken... One of these signs hung in the women's restroom and I just found it gone, we clean our restrooms as often as humanly possible so it hasn't been very long since I last saw it on the wall. If you took our Lil Ole sign, please return it and we'll have good giggle about it. We invite all of yall into our home and business for occasions such as this and we would like to always feel safe and comfortable leaving stuff out. Please return it to the women's bathroom wall. Thank you!

Getting ready for the Lake Nottely Boat Parade tomorrow at noon! We hope everyone has fun and please be safe this weekend! If watching by Boat, please stay outside the No Wake Zone buoys on either end of the marina and please allow room for boater navigation for those who do know that a Parade will be taking place. Parade will be inside the No Wake Zone as usual from buoys to buoys to the road. Please be safe and use your best judgment while on the water. Look forward to seeing all yall!

Huge thank you to Union County Fire/Rescue & EMA for training at our location on Tuesday. Thank you for all you all do for our community! Also, thank you for giving preparedness advice and information. We learned of a few things that we can do in order to help fire and rescue efficiently do their job in an emergency. We appreciate your time, service, and commitment to the community. Yall are awesome!

Happy Memorial Day everyone! Stay warm on this chilly weekend!

Update: Fuel limit increase 20 gallons per vessel. We're almost back normal... Well, as normal as we ever have been ;)

At least through Thursday... gas limit upped to 15 gallons per boat per day. Thank you all for your patience and we appreciate everyone's understanding until we can get a full delivery of fuel.

2 Things:

1: Due to fuel shortage, we will have a gas limit of 10 gallons per vessel until further notice. We appreciate everyone working together and thank you for your continued patronage.

2: Due to tragic recent events, Nottely Marina will be adjusting our fueling practices and we appreciate your cooperation while we all adjust. *NO ONE will permitted to remain on a vessel that is being fueled. *Engine compartments MUST be open before, during, and after fueling. A lot of us (including me a lot times) take for granted that fueling a boat is safe. It is not. Gasoline fumes are dangerous.

We will take every precaution to practice safe fueling and we appreciate your help to keep everyone safe. We ask that you regularly check your boats fuel system and electrical components. Not everything can be prevented, but we should give it our best effort to implement better boating practices in the hopes of avoiding some accidents in the future. Let's do whatever we can to make boating a little safer while still enjoying our beautiful lake!
