Wisconsin Family Rescues Black Bear Swimming in Lake With Head Stuck in Plastic Jar: VIDEO "Swim happy," the Wisconsin couple cheered from their boat as they freed a black bear cub from the confines of a plastic jar.

Today I made a traffic stop on this vehicle as it had a flat tire. The man pictured here was traveling to see family and was aware the tire was flat. He began explaining to me that he had a “donut” tire as a spare, however he did not have a jack to change the tire.
I told him I had one in my patrol vehicle and offered assistance in helping him change it.

I grabbed the Jack and began to place it under his car. He thanked me but said he could not allow a female to change his tire.

He started jacking it up but didn’t know how to take off the center cap. I assisted him in removing it.

He had some difficulties with the Jack which required me to lay on the ground and change placement.

As he was jacking the car back up he was obviously in pain, telling me that he had been shot 8 times and has severe leg/back pain.

I put the donut on and tightened the lugs. Let the Jack down and sent him on his way.

He inadvertently left an item at the scene of the traffic stop, so I caught up to him to return it.

At that time he asked me if we could take a picture together to say that he has proof that “cops aren’t bad”. I gladly agreed.
He told me he wanted to share his experience and asked I do the same.

Because, you see....it’s NOT a black and white thing. It’s NOT a male and female thing.

It is a HUMANITY thing. All it takes is a little compassion.

Out among the flowers today….tiny peeper on my rose bush (wish he was big enough to eat the pesky Japanese beetles) hand picking them off every day🙈😵and a hummingbird surprise! Also my tadpoles are growing see his legs?🐸They are living in a bucket of water😁

Well the painstaking grouting process has begun😅 I don’t like the white grout. Oh well. I will use it in the sky areas, and try to stain the white on the snail later after it cures in a week or so...

When dishes become your paint palette...5 bowls chopped in a beautiful Robin’s egg blue, soon to become parts of a mosaic skyscape...found the perfect grey blue for the mountains...

No time to waste for mortar to dry! Now I’ve decided a mushroom Forrest might work in the damp shady basement wall! Love them, what do you think? Frogs, dragonflies, snails, ferns?

Well panel #2 is mortared to the mesh and separated ready for installation....🙉 I think I will work on my abstract while this is “curing” 24 hours....

My Garden mosaics-2 (almost) down, 12 more to go...😅

This is a VERY long process...yesterday I pulled the panels apart and adhered any loose tesserae-success! Next step is cleaning preparing the cement wall and then maybe next week, installation!!! Whew, a lot of work....

My very first broken china mosaic! Why did I start with a 3x5 foot panel? 😅 I think I finally got the hang of it more as I neared the bottom! Now to adhere all those tiny pieces to the mesh! 🙉 Then adhere outside on the cement wall...then grout, seal....start on panel #2 of 14 ....might not be much painting going on around here)....

Yay! Officially 3/4 of the way laying out my tiles😍 3x5’ panel to be installed outside...lots more to go😅
