Reminder:
There are two more weeks to donate gently used Christmas items for our Everything Christmas Sale. We will be accepting items on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 - noon until the end of October. There is also a box outside the FOUCL room for drop offs. We accept anything Christmas-related except large artificial trees and toys.

Ferst Readers of Union County is hosting a fundraising concert on Sunday, October 22 at 2 pm at the UC Fine Arts Center. Tickets will be $36. Sons of the Pioneers (https://sonsofthepioneers.org/) will be performing directly after performing at the Grand Ole Opry that same weekend. Please see the attached poster with ways you can purchase tickets. Share with all of your friends.

Friends of Union County Library will be having a Christmas Quilt Raffle during the month of October. We will be selling tickets every Monday and Wednesday morning in October from 10 am until 12 noon in front of the Friends Room and also during the Everything Christmas Sale on November 3 and 4. The quilt will be on display at the libary if you want a closer look. Ticket prices will be 1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20. The drawing will be on Saturday, November 4 at 1 pm. You need not be present to win. We would like to thank FOUCL member Pam Ippolito for donating her beautiful queen-sized quilt for this raffle to benefit Union County Public Library.

Calling all writers! We're looking forward to a fun Open Mic again this year. You have a month to write or collect up your poetry or prose. Join us on Tuesday, September 26 from 4-5:30 pm in the library's community room to read your work{s}. Each writer will get up to 5 minutes to read.

Friends of Union County Library is having a raffle on a dollhouse. The drawing will be at the Everything Christmas Sale on November 5th at 1 pm. Funds raised will go toward technology learning resources to be used with the library's youth programs.

Friends of Union County Library in partnership with the library, will be hosting a discussion about travel on Tuesday, June 7 at 3:30 PM in the library's community room. This will be an opportunity for well-traveled folks and travel newbies to discuss all kinds of travel. Come prepared to tell us about your trips and learn about other people's travel adventures.
