22 Degrees here this morning but it’s the first day of Spring, so… there’s that! Happy Tuesday everyone, and let’s hope this is the last cold snap we see! 😅
Happy St. Paddy’s Day! 🍀 Found a spot to hang my new basket re-creation…. Used some double sided tape to affix it to the brick in my kitchen. Hoping it holds! 😅 Enjoy your Sunday! 😊
Mr E. has put his 8 x 8 canvas prints on sale for $18 ea!! That’s a great deal. 😁 “Sunny” the sunflower bunny is at the shop as well…he’s right at the front of the shop by the checkout and not in our booth! 🌻 🐰 Stop by and see Noel today until 5 pm! 😊
This 18” tall whiskered sunflower bunny named “Sunny” is headed over to The Farmhouse Co. later today! 🌻 🐰 Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
DIY Home Decor Tip!
From…. a $5 cheesy Dollar Tree Easter hanging basket to….. a classy every day hanging basket! I bought two of these baskets last year at Dollar Tree, so not sure they still have them. First, I simply removed all the cheesy flowers and decor and bent the basket inward to make a pouch. Joe cut me a piece of thin plywood he had laying around to fit on the back and bottom, and glued it on for me. I then put in a piece of green floral foam, and added moss and greenery and some lavender stems. You can add any type of floral you choose of course…. Whatever you have stashed away! I then added a bit of skinny burlap ribbon and bow. Now, where to hang ?? 🤔
Note: Because the Dollar Tree flowers had a lot of clunky glue under them, I simply bent the basket inwards to hide the glue, so that the back is now the front! Easy Peasy! 😁
More and more goodies at The Farmhouse Co.!
Happy Thursday friends! ☀️ For those who love vintage things like I do, here’s a few ideas for upcycling an old metal grain scoop and metal gas can (thankfully it was fully cleaned and did not reek of gasoline! 😅). I added some pretty transfers to each and filled with some moss and floral. Zuzu approved…. thank goodness as I love them! 🐶
Happy Hump Day friends! 🐪 In case y’all wonder what I spend my time doing when I’m not making garden art or some other crafts to sell, here you go….
One of my obsessions…old stuff! Found these three vintage Bromwell flower sifters in different shops and finally added some floral to them for my home decor. What do you think? The one on the left is a “newer” version and I’m thinking about adding some “rust” to it, as I prefer that look! 😂
Zuzu says ‘good morning’ from the chilly North Georgia mountains! No rain, but a bit too cold yet this morning for her to stay outside too long…hang on Zuzu…. Warmer days are coming! ☀️ 🌺
If only! 😂 Happy soggy Saturday! Don’t forget to change your clocks! ⏰
Joe put my garden art out today (gonna have to swipe one of my owls from the shop since my groomer bought the one I had out previously 😆), and the birdhouse my son Brandon in California made for us for Christmas … it has “The Engel Birds” written on it! Spring is in the air! 🌺
Poor Zuzu got her shots this morning and isn’t feeling to chipper this afternoon, even with it being a nice warm sunshine day. 😞
Not sure why the “big boys” owl post I made last week didn’t work, or add to my album, but here they are! These guys are now available at The Farmhouse Co. 🦉
We restocked our booth at The Farmhouse Co. today, and added an outside display as well for some more pieces of our garden art! So…stop on by and see Noel! She’s got some yummy Girl Scout cookies and three new vendors I hear! The shop is looking pretty good. 😊
A huge thank you to all those who stopped by to support our little craft business, and to Sarah at Hardman Farm State Historic Site for inviting us back to celebrate the Cows Come Home event today! This was our third time at this event, and it was a fantastic day for us in sales, and it was wonderful to chat with everyone who stopped by to look and complement us…. that’s always a nice incentive to keep at it! 🦉🌺 Our next, and only other Show this year will be The Sunshine Arts& Crafts Market Saturday June 15th in Blairsville. In the meantime you can find our items at The Farmhouse Co. in Blairsville. 😊
Now, it’s time to begin my two day after show recovery…. Where horizontal rest is best! 😂
Zuzu is feeling a little timid about her sales job today! 😅 We’re all set up and ready to go though… 52 and a little cloudy still but we’re hoping for the sun to come out later. Stop on by and see us at the Cows Come Home Show if you’re in the area today! 🌺🦉
Lastly, from February’s whirlwind of creations… meet “Charlotte” and “Dottie”, the gemstone gals! 🦉🦉 Now to load up everybody for tomorrow…. 🚙

Happy Friday! Here are some more owls to start your day…. yesterday I shared the sweet girls that we’ll be taking to our Show tomorrow, so today it’s the handsome guys! 🦉 Stay dry and have a wonderful day y’all! ☔️
The ladies…. Elsa, Grace and Birdie! Don’t they look like they are sweetly gazing at something? 🦉
Terrible day for pictures, very overcast, but no rain at least…tomorrow is supposed to rain I hear, so it is what it is! Here are 7 new flowers that will be going to the Show on Saturday at Hardman Farm State Historic Site. 🌺
This Saturday! As an fyi, we are intentionally limiting ourselves to just two shows this year to give me more free time to do some other things I enjoy, as well as help my hubs out a bit this spring and summer as we plan on building out our backyard patio and some landscaping. Although we enjoy doing shows, it definitely takes a lot of time and effort way ahead of each one to ensure we have lots of beautiful pieces available for the attendees. Our second and final show will be the The Sunshine Arts& Crafts Market June 15th in Blairsville. We’ll still have our booth at The Farmhouse Co. of course, but that’s much more to my timeline of making! 😅 I’ve made over 140 flowers and owls in just two years, of which almost all have been sold, with a few gifted, plus 21 new pieces that will debut at the Hardman Farm State Historic Site Cows Come Home Show Saturday! 🤯
I’ll be displaying my new pieces 🌺 🦉 on my page tomorrow and/or Thursday if the rain stops and the sun decides to come back out! 🌞
Zuzu following daddy on our morning walk on our property. She really enjoys exploring, especially on beautiful sunshine filled days! Happy Monday everyone! 🌞 I’ll be posting some pics this week of garden art that will be available at our show this coming Saturday! 🌺 🦉
Sneak Peek at what will be available at the Cows Come Home 🐄 Show at Hardman Farm State Historic Site in Sautee March 2nd! 💜 💛 💜
Happy Love Your Pet Day! 🐶 I set the smoke alarm off baking painted glassware, and Zuzu who is now hard of hearing at 14, heard it upstairs and came down to check it out! 😂 After seeing all was well, she jumped up on her chair for a nap! 💤
Monday morning vibes…. think I’ll just lay here a few more minutes mama.😴
