Write it down and hand it into our drop box or email a link to us at [email protected]!

Once we receive all the recipes, we will put them all together and send out a copy to anyone who would like one!
Please let us know if you are interested!
Turn on your lights and email us any photos you want to share of coming together 💕💕💕
Reminder tonight it is time to turn the Lights On Blaine! Friday night the Blaine community has a chance to come together and show support for one another. At 8:30PM on Friday, April 24 flip on your outside house lights. If you do not have outside lights stand on your apartment balcony or go to the window with a flashlight or phone. Let's all come together by simply flipping on the lights and letting each other know we care and are all in this together.

Just a heads up 💕
Minnesota will hold two statewide tornado drills on Thursday, April 16. There will be a daytime drill at 1:45PM and an evening drill at 6:45PM. On average Minnesota experiences 28 tornadoes each year. When you hear the sirens today stop and think about your surroundings and how you would react during actual tornado. Just wanted you to know!
The decision has been made to close all city playgrounds until further notice. As we work to slow the community spread of COVID-19 it was determined that playgrounds continue to be a gathering place even under the social distancing guidelines. Today all city park playgrounds will be taped off with caution tape and playground closed signs will be posted. Staff from public works, parks and recreation, and the police department will work to educate individuals that they find violating the closure notice. However, these staff can not be everywhere or respond to every report of a group of people gathering. The parks remain open for the use of open space and trails. Please practice social and physical distancing while using the trails.
Some good information from our BPD!
Yesterday the City of Blaine sent out a message using the CivicReady emergency notification system. This opt-in system allows residents to get emergency notifications by phone, email, and text message. The vendor the city uses for these messages is Regroup. Please be confident that messages received from the city through this system are real and important. If you have any questions about the CivicReady system please contact [email protected].

mprnews.org A band of freezing rain moved through the Twin Cities early Saturday, leaving a coating of ice on streets and highways that at times made brakes useless.
Very icy outside roads are horrible as well as parking lots. We will sand our lots Monday with the rain coming sanding them now won’t work I’ve been in touch with our plow company. Please be safe if you must travel today.

Nice reminder from our Blaine PD😊
Cold weather means it is time for warm coats, boots, and hot chocolate. It does not mean it is time to start warming up your car unattended. Over the last four months 11 vehicles with the keys left inside have been stolen in Blaine. Two of those vehicles were left running. Do not leave your keys in the car, not even for a quick warm up. Take your keys.
Please stay safe out on the roads everyone!
The first snow plow event of the season is here and Blaine public works is ready to roll. Main road city plow crews will start at 2AM on Wednesday morning and cul-de-sac plow drivers will start at 4AM. Stay safe on the roads and make sure to give the plows plenty of space.
