Fantastic news! We just received more enamel pins, some with images from our favorite books. We also have a new item, by popular demand - patches! Our favorite is the shark that says "I'm not mean, just hungry." Mood.

Okay. We get it. You're soooooooooo cool. You don't have to go around casually dropping your Edinburgh Festival badge in the store so we can find it and think about what we were doing in 2005 (hint: it wasn't going to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival). You probably haven't even noticed it's missing because you're SO COOL, but if you want your badge back we have it for you at the counter, where we're just sitting here being uncool. 😎

One day while a dog was romping around the store and a parent was reading a book to a child and some students were laughing at something a customer walked in and said, "Oh. I see this isn't one of those *quiet* bookstores" and that was our favorite compliment we've ever received, but today someone told us "I'm so glad you have weird stuff" and we're all like ☺️. That said, we're completely sold out of "I'm in Love with Mothman." More copies are on the way, so let us know if you want us to save one for you!

It’s Field Trip Friday and we’re over at Eats Natural Foods to pick up some goodies for a Friday night feast* (seriously, you need to check out their cheese selection). They’re also full of all kinds of cool stuff – eco-friendly housewares, fair trade clothing and jewelry, brewing and fermenting supplies, and pretty much anything else you could possibly need. They’re one of our favorite one-stop shops in Blacksburg. ❤️🥖🌏 *by “Friday night feast” we actually mean waaaay too many snacks that we’re going to shove in our face while binge-reading. But at least they’re healthy snacks!
