Our Future Is Bright!
We are excited to share that Brothers, Gerren K. Whitlock, Sr., Donell Lewis, Phillip Stringer, Timothy Elliott, and Cordaro Simmons attended a private luncheon to celebrate and spotlight the incredible work of local leaders making a global impact. This gathering is more than a meal—it’s a testament to how community-driven passion and leadership can shape not only our state but also extend far beyond our borders.

We would like to express great appreciation to Carey Campbell, South Outreach Director of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition; Former Alabama Secretary of State, John Merrill; Eddy Acevedo, Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President and CEO at the Wilson Center; and Lockheed Martin Space leaders Joe Rice and Stacey DeFore. Your timely discussions on America’s global leadership and the impact of international crises and opportunities on Alabama’s interests—from global stability to prosperity at home—are invaluable and deeply appreciated.

Stay tuned as we come together to highlight meaningful stories, inspire future projects, and strengthen bonds. We invite you to reflect on how our local roots can spark worldwide change!

Distinguished Brothers of Pride of North Birmingham Lodge No. 319, I am thrilled to have the honor to lead you for the past 7 years and to unveil a milestone in our lodge’s history today—the launch of our new lodge logo. This isn’t just a logo; it’s a beacon, a symbol of the steadfast legacy we've built and a commitment to the bright future we envision together.

This new logo isn’t merely a design—it represents the foundation upon which generations of dedicated brothers have built and the vision we now embrace for the generations yet to come. It’s about standing proud, standing together, and showing our unity and strength as we lead with purpose. This emblem encapsulates who we are and where we’re going—a statement that says we’re proud of our past, but we’re even prouder of the impact now and we're going to have moving forward.

We are building up a legacy that is rooted in honor, integrity, and the unbreakable brotherhood of this lodge. Each line, each color, each element of this design has been chosen with deep respect for our heritage, as well as a passion for progress. This logo is a call to action for each of us to step up, support one another, and pave the way for those who will follow.

To all our brothers and our supporters, this is your symbol too. It’s a rallying point to come together, to strengthen our ties, and to show Birmingham and beyond what it means to belong to Pride of North Birmingham Lodge No. 319. We invite you to join us, to get behind this new era, and to celebrate all that we stand for.

Let this emblem remind us of our mission and inspire us to continue our work for the betterment of each other and the broader community. Pride of North Birmingham Lodge No. 319, we are the foundation, we are the builders, and we are the future.

Today marks a truly significant day in our history. On September 29th, 1784, Prince Hall Freemasonry was officially founded, paving the way for generations of men to join a brotherhood built on principles of liberty, equality, and peace. As we celebrate 240 years of this proud legacy, we stand in awe of the strength, humility, and resilience that has carried us forward.

Prince Hall and the brothers who followed him laid a foundation that has inspired us to strive for excellence, to uplift one another, and to serve our communities with purpose, integrity, and dignity. To be a Prince Hall Mason today means to walk in their footsteps, honoring the traditions while creating new pathways for growth and progress.

We are humbled by our past, empowered by our presence, and excited about the future of this great fraternity. The light of Prince Hall burns brightly, and it is our duty and privilege to keep that light shining for generations to come. Here's to 240 years and beyond!
