MTB Transport
MTB, a PS Logistics company, was established in April 2013 with a focus on servicing the construction Our current fleet consists of 100% flatbed drivers.
We run semi dedicated routes and over the road type freight, depending on the driver’s location and needs. And as we continue to grow our fleet, we’re looking to hire company drivers in most all regions. An MTB driver can expect to be home most every weekend, but at least 3 weekends each month. We provide drivers with great equipment, as well as all required accessories to operate safely — tarps, chains, straps, coil racks and timbers.
We will always remember. We will never forget. 9.11.01
It's and today Blake P. from the P&S Nashville terminal is giving us a quick review of proper lumber load securement. Take a look and see what steps you should be taking to stay safe and avoid load shifts.

As our summer interns wrap up their time with us, we want to showcase this phenomenal group and all they have accomplished. They have had an immersive experience over the last eight weeks ranging from load planning, dispatch, maintenance logs, reviewing dashcam footage for correctional purposes, and CSA reporting. We also enjoyed an intern in our IT department who aided in helpdesk tickets, and another within our marketing department who made her directorial debut on a number of videos. The highlight of the summer for us was when the interns blew us away with their Power BI group project presentations. The way they took real operational data from across the PSL network, analyzed it, and presented conclusions was truly impressive. We are very proud of the impact this group has made during their time with us and are grateful to have played a part in their young professional careers. Thanks for everything, interns. Your futures are bright!

We want to recognize MTB driver, Jason C., who avoided an accident which was captured on DriveCam. Another vehicle cut over in front of him at the last second at a red light on 20th Street near the Birmingham terminal. Since Jason was already preparing to stop due to the stale green light and not racing to beat the red light he was able to avoid contact with the inconsiderate passenger vehicle. For exhibiting his defensive driving skills Jason received swag, a certificate, and a bonus. Thank you Jason for always making SAFETY your #1 priority!
If you notice trailer issues during your pre or post trip inspections, report them in the PSL driver app! You'll get DFG points and the trailer will be fixed. Maintenance will even send you an email once the fix is made. Set yourself and your fellow drivers up for success by reporting trailer issues in the app!
It’s hot, y’all! As we move further into the summer months we want to emphasize how important proper hydration is for the safety and health of our drivers. Water is always key in staying hydrated, but replenishing electrolytes is also important. Another useful tip is to consume foods with high water contents, like fruit. Stay hydrated, safe, and ahead of the heat!
Look out! Operation Safe Driver Week is upon us! For the week of July 7-13 we will be focusing on safe driving and ways to do so. This year, the focus is on reckless, careless, and dangerous driving. Law enforcement will be on the lookout for you, so be on the lookout for them. As always, safe driving is top priority!
We hope all of our MTB friends and family have a safe and happy holiday! Happy 4th of July!

Shout out to Marvin W., who has been selected as the MTB Transport driver of the month for May 2024! Marvin has been with MTB since April of 2016. During his time with MTB Marvin has not had any accidents/incidents, cargo claims, and work-related injuries. He has had six clean inspections over the last eight years. The seventh inspection had one violation - a light that went out during transit. Marvin currently qualifies for the Million Mile Award and is less than 80,000 miles away. He also completes the Drive for Gold monthly training on a routine basis and is compliant with Hours of Service regulations.
"Marvin is an excellent driver and a great person. Marvin delivers all loads on time and is always communicating any issues with dispatch immediately. He will do any loads asked of him and never complains. It is a pleasure to work with him every day!" - Jim Riley, Driver Manager
Congratulations Marvin! Thank you for your hard work and making SAFETY your #1 priority!
Congratulations to MTB driver, Rex R., who avoided an accident which was captured on DriveCam. Another vehicle failed to yield before making a right hand turn and then pulled out into Rex’s lane of travel. Rex then reacted in less than 1 second because he was practicing key #1 of Smith System which is Aim High in Steering and key #4 of Leave Yourself an Out. Because he was practicing these keys, he was able to anticipate that this car might be pulling out in front of him and was able to maneuver his truck to where no contact with the other vehicle was made. For exhibiting his defensive driving skills Rex received swag, a certificate, and a $ bonus. Thank you Rex for always making SAFETY your #1 priority!
Shout out to MTB driver Ray E. who avoided an accident which was captured on DriveCam. Another vehicle was randomly stopped in the grass near an entrance ramp with no explanation as to why. Suddenly, this vehicle pulled out in front of the truck. The DriveCam event showed Ray utilizing 2 of the 5 Smith System keys of 1. Aim high in steering and 2. Leave yourself an out. If Ray had not been anticipating this vehicle possibly pulling out in front of him while also leaving himself an out, he may have contacted the other vehicle. For exhibiting his defensive driving skills Ray received swag, a certificate, and a bonus. Thank you Ray for always making SAFETY your #1 priority!
Hey drivers, we have a new tool for you and it's right there on your Samsara! Our Driver Technology team has created a way for you to take and send photos of your tarped loads directly to your driver manager. This is not the securement photos you send to safety. This is to protect you against customer claims and demonstrate that the job was completed. Check out these step-by-step instructions to protect against cargo claims and to show that loads were tarped prior to leaving the shipper!
Today we honor the brave. We honor the heroes. We honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country and the freedoms we enjoy every day.
The long weekend is here! Unfortunately, some criminals see holiday weekends as the perfect opportunity for theft. Be proactive this weekend by parking in a secure, well-lit area. Keep your trailer attached to the tractor and do not skip the dash valve lock!
