SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON 12/8/2024, GODS PROMISE, 2 Samuel 7:4-17.

“God said it and that settles it!” God’s faithfulness is true. David was reminded that God has always been with him. However, the greatness of God’s blessings to David was not for David alone; it was for all of Israel. God had promised Moses that His Kingdom would be blessed through his seed for the glory of the Lord. Even though we are not worthy, God’s promise to bless His people remains true today. Honor Him that His will, not your will, be done through you. Glory to God!!!

Thanksgiving is a time of gratefulness and remembrance. Throughout the years, God has been so good to us. It’s amazing how much we realize that God has purposed our lives far before we were ever conceived. God purposed the lives of Boaz, Ruth, Naomi down to David. Through their faithfulness God blessed their lineage with the Son of Man, Jesus Christ. God will bless us and He will bless the world through us when we choose to follow Him!

Do you ever think on who God really is? In our minds, we often limit the presence of our Lord! God knows all! God sees all! God is everywhere! Try as we may we will never understand the depth of God!
Wherever we are He is there and He knows us better than we know ourselves. Therefore, we must trust Him and His plan for our lives! He is great and He is good!

SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON 11/17/2024, A SONG OF THANKSGIVING, Psalm 100.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name” is the first verse of Psalm 103 but that is what stirs in my heart when I think of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is active worship to God! It’s a privilege to serve Him in gladness. We praise Him for His power, His provision, His protection, and His grace and mercy. There is only one God… there is no other. Our song in our hearts denotes the love and relationship we share with our God. Bless Him for what He’s done, what He’s doing, and whatever shall do in our lives! Glory!!!

My God is My Everything! He created everything ! Heaven, Earth, Land and Sea are all His creation! There’s no one equal or greater than Him. Trust Him for your deliverance and your protection. Never would have made it without Him! In all that you are and with everything you have exhort His name. He’s worthy to be praised!!! GLORY!!!!

SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON 11/3/2024, CONFIDENCE IN GODS SHEPHERDING, Psalm 23.

Sunday is 2 Days from ELECTION DAY! I know many have anxiety, but with God there is no need to worry! We must VOTE!!! Our lesson emphasizes that very fact. David understood that God is OUR SHEPHERD and he is the authority of our lives. The Lord is our comforter, our provider, and our sustainer. He will protect us from all enemies!… enemies on the outside, enemies among us, and the enemy of ourself!!! David’s hope in the Lord gives confidence in knowing that His love and mercy is available forever. God’s in control… SO PRAY AND VOTE 🙏🏽🇺🇸

🌟 A Glimpse of Heaven on Earth 🌟

This past Sunday, two different church families (Trinity CME Church - Uptown and First Baptist Zion City) came together in unity, reminding us of the beauty of diversity and harmony. Under one roof, voices rose in praise, hands reached out in love, and hearts opened in true fellowship. Different denominations, but the same faith. Different traditions, but the same God.

Moments like these give us a preview of what heaven looks like—a place where every tribe, tongue, and nation joins together in perfect unity, united in love. Let’s carry this spirit with us, celebrating our differences while holding tight to what binds us all. 💒🙌🏽
