Today is the Last day to register for the theater lab. Final day for scholarships for the lab as well.
A 4-Week Intensive Theatre Lab, where we will tackle everything from dramaturgy, scene study,
acting workshops, directing workshops, stage management work, and history of Black American Theatre, Utilizing Sheryll Luckett's Black Acting Methods, Black Directing Methods, as well as the study and analysis of several contemporary plays written by Black playwrights. Students will be given hands-on training, classes, & rehearsal for a full performance of selected work at the

(carltonvbell.com), of the Birmingham Black Repertory Theatre Collective. We encourage
theater students of all disciplines as we cover things they can expect to see in their studies into higher education. This class is designed for upcoming High School Juniors, Seniors, and
upcoming college Freshman.
Students will receive hands-on training, classes, and rehearsal for a full performance of selected works at Encore Theatre & Gallery from Birmingham Black Repertory Theatre Collective’s Resident Artist & Award-Winning Director Carlton V Bell II (carltonvbell.com). We encourage theater students of all disciplines to attend because we cover topics that they can expect to see in their future studies, as well as over +45 hours of training with industry professionals, including insights from the all Black Female Led Agency Gill Talent (gilltalent.org). This course is intended for incoming college freshmen, as well as incoming high school juniors and seniors.

The Friday May 6, 2022 showing of "Chocolate Covered Cabaret" has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Your tickets can be used at any of the other showings.
Please receive our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Please note that this postponement is due to a medical challenge, and the shows will go on as planned except for Friday, May 6, 2022.
