Our team recognized over 65 heroes as we celebrated Veterans Day this week. Thank you to Alabama Veteran for your continued partnership!

We have a team of Veteran Volunteers who share a mutual bond with our Veteran patients.
The Vet-to-Vet Program aims to pair Veteran Volunteers with our Veteran patients. Once paired, Veteran Volunteers have the unique ability to relate and connect with each patient thereby creating an environment where life review and healing may occur.

We also have a “No Veteran Dies Alone” (NVDA) program inspired by the program called “No One Dies Alone,” and it is designed to honor Veterans and to meet the needs of those Veterans who, for whatever reason, find themselves alone.

If you’d like to learn more please visit https://expectcare.com/vets/ or call 205-444-0126 for more information.

Please message me if interested in this incredible opportunity. You will surely be blessed!

In years past, we have partnered with ExpectCare in honoring those Veterans on hospice service with them. This was one way we could get other Veterans engaged in community service and to honor those brothers and sisters on end of life care. We can tell you it can be the most rewarding feeling to have another Vet tear up when we go to honor their service to our country and laying the ground work before us. This year is no different and we hope to partner with others throughout Alabama this Veterans Day in a few weeks. Please consider volunteering to present a certificate of appreciation for their service and pinning them with a Veterans Pin. We have had so many Vets tell us that they have never had someone recognize them for their service and sacrifices. Please let us know if you can join us in honoring our brothers and sisters on hospice care.
