Journey with us in the Word!

From the Desk of Pastor Arthur Price, Jr. ✍🏾

The very thing that tried to break you is what God will use to bless others through you.
Keep trusting. Keep healing. He’s building something in you.

Member Spotlight: Jonathan “Joe-Nathan” Whitley 🛠️❤️🕊️👟
If you’ve spent any time at 16th Street Baptist Church, chances are you’ve crossed paths with the one and only Jonathan Whitley, affectionately known by all who love him as "Joe-Nathan"—and if you know, you know! 😄
Joe-Nathan is the definition of selfless, genuine, and dependable. He is the go-to guy for just about everything and everyone! From Sunday service support to behind-the-scenes logistics, from tech needs to heavy lifting, he truly is our Jack of All Trades and a man of many hats—and even more heart. 💪🏾❤️
Always ready to lend a hand, offer a solution, or crack a joke, Jonathan gives his time, energy, and love to the life of the church without hesitation. He’s one of the most reliable people we’ve ever known, and our congregation is better, stronger, and smoother because of him.
And when he takes a much-needed break with his lovely wife Asya (who we also love dearly!), let’s just say… his absence is definitely felt.
Jonathan, your quiet strength, servant’s heart, and unwavering presence do not go unnoticed. We love and appreciate you more than words can say.
Drop a “THANK YOU JOE-NATHAN!” in the comments and show him some love! 🙌🏾👏🏾
