Lelia Ruffin-Franks, LPC

Lelia Ruffin- Franks is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 12 years experience working with adults with Mental Health and Substance Abuse diagnoses. She graduated from Tuskegee University in 2006 and Alabama Agriculture and Mechanical University in 2009. She has worked in various setting, including private practice, inpatient psychiatric hospital, community mental health residential facility, and substance abuse facilities with abstinence based 12 step principals as well as Medication Assistant Treatments. Lelia has worked as an Executive Director of an Acute Mental Health facility as well as a Substance Abuse facility. She has worked as a Regional Clinical Director, managing multiple clinics, in effective treatment modalities for Opioid Use Disorder with Medication Assistant Treatment. Lelia has experience in working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, relationships issues, parenting issues, as well as life transitions such as empty nester, divorce, and grief.

Lelia provides a supportive environment to collaborate with clients using active listening, empathetic responses and outcomes focused treatment to help achieve goals. She uses various treatment techniques including person- centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution- focused therapy, narrative and motivational interviewing. Therapy is an opportunity to explore difficult emotions, find hope, and heal. Lelia believes you are the expert of your life and will offer a safe and non judgmental environment where you can work towards the life you want. Graham attained his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree in 2015, and gained his Master of Arts in Counseling in 2018, both from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While finishing his masters, Graham served in the Zeta Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, Phi Kappa Phi, and was a Glenda R. Elliot Scholarship recipient. Currently, he is pursuing his doctorate of behavioral health (DBH) from Arizona State University and is set to graduate in 2022. Graham has worked with a diverse set of individuals and groups and believes in the spirit of collaboration and the power of hope. His specialties include Christian discipleship counseling, addiction/substance use, marriage/couples, severe/persistent mental illness, corrections, family systems, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma-informed care. He has served in private practice, integrated healthcare teams, program/protocol development/implementation/evaluation, and facility/staff oversight. Graham is also an Ordained Minister of the Gospel as well as a certified John Maxwell Team Member (JMT) speaker, teacher, and coach. Graham has experience in serving non-profit boards and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Empowered to Conquer, a non-profit dedicated to the empowerment of children and adolescents. We cover all paneling, billing, and other over head costs. After the percentage cut depending on how many clients are seen salary ranges 72,000-100,000 or more. We also provide the caseload!
