Today, on the eve of World AIDS Day, we are hosting a Candlelight Vigil to remember and honor our patients who have died over the past year. We will be speaking their first names and encourage attendees to speak names of others as well.

This event will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 30th in the atrium of the Dewberry building (home of The 1917 Clinic at UAB and the Magic City Wellness Center).

As part of our World AIDS Day events, we are hosting a panel discussion on overcoming (HIV) stigma this Wednesday, November 29th from 6-8pm. Good food, great company, and important discussion. Please share with others and take a moment to register.

We encourage you to discuss any possible changes to your health insurance with your social worker.

Inspiring day at the End Addiction Bham Walk

Coffee at the Clinic is an informal time to hear a few clinic updates, and more importantly, for the clinic to listen to our patients and community.

For our community who spend time at the clinic, we want to promote our Resource Center! We have health resources, computers, and a phone. And today you can stop by to take a breath and make a card for yourself, a colleague or member of your healthcare team, or anyone you want to appreciate. ❤️
(The Resource Center is located on the second floor and staffed by volunteers.)

The City of Birmingham Government and The Jimmie Hale Mission will be hosting the WARMING STATION this Thursday January 26th and Friday January 27th, 7pm - 7am each night.
