Representatives from the Alabama Apartment Association were able to talk one-on-one to state representatives about issues that affect our industry.

The Alabama Apartment Association and the Alabama affiliates representing GBAA, AANA, RRAA and MBAAA, attended the 2022 NAA ADVOCATE Conference in Washington DC.

Representatives from AL met with AL State Congressmen, Congresswomen and AL Senators regarding issues that affect our industry:
1. Revitalize the Section 8 Choice Voucher (HCV) Program
2. CARES ACT - Eviction Notice to Vacate (30 day Notice to Vacate)
3. Barriers to Apartment Development Increase in the Cost of Housing

We will continue to lobby and support reform on these issues in support of Alabama Apartment Association and its affiliates members.
