New Blog Post is Live!

We've updated our blog page with a new post all about family.

It goes without saying that family is a source of love and support, and it is also important to note how much of a difference a supportive family can make for someone who is recovering from substance use disorder.

People in recovery can feel lonely and isolated at times, but a group of family members can remind them that they are loved and that they have a source of encouragement.

In our new blog post, we give some tips and strategies about how to help your loved one who is seeking recovery from their substance use disorder. Check it out at https://fshbhm.org/news-events/blog.html.

Our Story

Fellowship House is a non-profit, United Way agency, which was established in 1965. It is a recovery-oriented program designed to service the special needs of individuals who suffer from alcoholism, drug addiction, and co-occurring disorders. Our goal is to aid each individual in the personal, social, and vocational adjustments necessary for the maintenance of sober and productive life.

Our goal has always been to provide the individual with basic living needs, a therapeutic environment, and the ability to return to society as a functional, self-supporting, drug and alcohol free individual. We have medium intensity residential beds and transitional beds at our apartment program. We offer a continuum of services that individuals can utilize through many stages of their addiction and that follow with the standards of American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). We do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, handicap, or income.
