With heavy hearts, we join the CrossFit community in mourning the tragic loss of Lazar Djukic. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and fellow athletes during this difficult time. Believing that God's comfort, peace, and presence will minister to them in a special way.

Our August Athlete of the month is Erin Kaigler!! Erin is one amazing athlete! She has improved so much since she joined us last year! This month is also Erin’s 1 year anniversary with us at CFBHM!! She is the most humble, hardworking, motivated mom out there! She comes in and crushes workouts each day and always has the biggest smile! She takes on new challenges and doesn’t back down! The time has come to announce our Nutrition Challenge Winners!!!! 🎉
As many of you know, there were a lot of members who completed the 4 week nutrition challenge. These participants were challenged each week with both a nutrition challenge and an exercise challenge! 4 weeks of hard work, dedication, and a kick-start to a healthy lifestyle! 💪🏼
We couldn’t be more proud of each participant, but a special shoutout to our winners, the male and female who lost the highest percentage of body fat:
🏆CHERYL REYNOLDS: Cheryl did incredible, she lost 3% body fat!! Way to go Cheryl, you did AMAZING!!!
🏆EDWARD SMITH: Edward lost 2% body fat, and is feeling incredible! So proud of him and his hard work!
Big congratulations to everyone who participated in the challenge! Be sure to congratulate, fist bump, and celebrate our winners! 🥗🏋️

Our July AOM is.. Hal Shepherd!!! Hal is our oldest member at CFBHM and one of our most consistent showing up 3-4 times a week!! He has been a member here for a gooood number of years, and still showing up and putting in that work!! Hal is the first to say hello, help put your equipment away, and boy, does he crush each workout! And if you know Hal, you know he is quite the artist when it comes to mapping out his workout! Hal is a 4:30pmer so if you see him then, show him some love! We love you Hal!!💪🏼🤩

I usually listen to worship music when I’m training on my own. I like the slower tempo. I end up not noticing music too long into the workout anyways.

We will miss all those ad-libs screamed out in the middle of a lift or even in the warm-up. Yesterday, we said “see you later” to Clint & Malery as they head into their new adventure in Texas. We are so excited for you both and we are so thankful for the time you had here! Goodluck in Texas and come back and see us SOON!! We love you both and we will miss you!!!! 🤗
