Jaia’s first trip to the zoo was so fun and too doggone hot! 🥵

I also had an AMAZING opportunity to emcee the SOAR Awards at West End Academy. I was so blown away by the educators and scholars. Dr. Watkins and her staff are so so great & last night was proof.

Also, the way the alumni from West End High School showed up to celebrate these babies was so inspiring. Watching an entire community show up to celebrate these students was inspiring. The love, pride, and encouragement in that room was something special.

Babyyyy, I left wishing I was a West End Lion! 😂🦁❤️

Never had to be the loudest, but somehow always seen.

You’ve probably wondered where I’ve been. After one heck of a month (and then some) away from you all, I can finally say it’s been a journey. I’ve cried in the shower, crawled through the sand, and learned more about myself than I ever expected.

As I prepare to depart training, I have a lot to celebrate…going from ENS to soon becoming LTJG in a couple of days, and a few more blessings I’ll share later…

I’m beyond grateful for every storm, every rainbow, and every horizon that followed. Through every season, God has been faithful, and I’m grateful for every lesson, challenge, and opportunity to lead along the way. ⚓️

I will continue to 🌪️☀️

And I WILL see you all soon. I promise that.
