This amazing organization in Alabama provided our family a place to stay in their “Home Away From Home” program when Jaxan endured his brain and spine radiation at Proton International at University of Alabama Birmingham - UAB for 30 straight rounds M-F. He would have to be there every morning to get radiation, so not having the financial burden of renting a hotel room every day over the course of radiation was a HUGE relief! Donations from the community and their church members help make this possible. Thank you again Jan and Andy Thrower who started this organization after being inspired by their first-hand experiences when their son was in treatment (now remission)🎗💛
