Oh my, what a wonderful story! The way the wild, untamed mountain lion resists her feral instincts to care for the domesticated cat is so heartwarming and endearing is a balm for my heart and soul. I wish with every fiber of my being that humans could behave this way more often. Too often we treat others with suspicion and hostility, caving in to our atavistic urges instead of responding with empathy and compassion.

I hope others can glean some hope from this tale as I have. We get but one life and we should make more of it every day, being kind to each other instead of reacting with hostility when we encounter others.

I am unable to think of a more perverse and confounding juxtaposition of terms in the English language than “President Trump”. In all the known universe there cannot be a pairing of words more baffling or bizarre than those two. Instead of glowing to attract prey, its lure may be used less often, because the batfish spends most of its life crawling rather than swimming

The author makes a fine, salient point about how he should not be honored as a hero or a martyr for the MAGA cause.
