The Musical Ark is the realization of a long-time dream of artist Michael Brolly. Nearly three decades in the making, the concept first inspired Brolly in graduate school: can humans communicate with whales? After hundreds of years of hunt and slaughter, it's time for an apology. In Canada. A few extra questions at the border, but they let us in when we told them that we are heading to Newfoundland for the summer sound symposium. That might be a better audience than whales!
