We welcome 2023 Ridgerunner Piljo Yae, trailname WIC, and a 2022 thru hiker and member of a local hiking club. The season should begin on or before Memorial day after training.

Renewing blazes on a club work trip

S.Matt finished up his 2nd season ridge running on Labor Day. What an excellent job he did caring for the trail, working with volunteers and maintaining clubs sometimes in trying weather conditions. When it was very hot, one of his comments was that "it was like winter in Texas", where he was from. Another of his frequent comments was "you just cannot make this stuff up" when encountering something particularly unexpected or unusual. He appreciates especially the work of all those trail volunteers who have helped and still take care of the trail which he loves! Below is an end of season picture at Lehigh Gap.
