Mosaics made in Cotonou with locally sourced materials and lots of creativity. A friend brought me to Kamal Mosaics, and I never looked back.

I started doing mosaics about 4 years ago, when I first moved to Dakar. Doing mosaics became a passion and a hobby. When I moved to Nairobi, one of my worries was where I would work on mosaics. I talked to my teacher from Dakar and she encourage me to start doing it on my own. The Mosaic Project is a style of mosaics that starts by painting the back of the glass and customizing the whole experience to the student or client's desire.
